Defy Logic LTD are a Software and IT consultancy based in Derby. Our main goal is to provide high value IT expertise to small and mediums companies throughout the UK.
Justin Nellist, Managing Director started life back in the early 90's writing software on some of the earliest computers (before the PC!) and has continued ever since. Having progressed through university he worked for 3 midland based companies and within 2 years was IT manager for a logistics company with 100+ employee's. In 2005 he made the decision to set up Defy Logic with the aim of providing local businesses with quality bespoke software at affordable prices.
Since then the business has grown with a customer base the stretches down to Kent, across to Somerset and back up again. We use our diverse network of IT professionals to solve whatever problems may exist. They're a good group of people as well!
Our initial growth came almost entirely from word of mouth, our customers are always satisfied with our performance and ability and always pleasantly surprised by our cost. Our services range from remote support through to bespoke software development but their goal is the same, to make you more efficient and therefore more profitable as a company. We do this by using our experience and expertise to analyse your existing IT infrastructure and suggest ways you can make improvements. It can be as simple as a link between you and your customers/suppliers or a fully integrated bespoke database system.
